Year 8

Admissions

  • Friday 21st August 2026 – Induction Day (non-uniform)
  • Friday 28th August 2026 – 1st day for Year 8 (uniform required)

Free School Meals

If your child is entitled to free school meals, you should immediately inform the Education Authority (3 Charlemont Place, The Mall, Armagh) that he/she is transferring to this school, so that their name will be included on our lists for September 2026.

Home to School Transport Applications

To prepare for the new School Year, the online application for Home to School Transport Assistance for post primary pupils will open on Tuesday 12 May 2026. This can be done by scanning the QR code or using the link below. Please apply early for your bus pass so that it arrives in school before the start of term.

SEAG Registration 2026

Key Dates

  • Monday 18th May 2026 – Registration Opens.
  • Friday 18th September 2026 – Registration Closes.
  • By Wednesday 7th October 2026 – Parents will be provided with details of arrangements for dropping off and collecting children on Assessment Days and for Familiarisation Session.
  • Friday 9th October 2026 – Parents can access Pupil Cards
  • Saturday 14th November 2026 – Entrance Assessment Paper 1
  • Saturday 21st November 2026 – Entrance Assessment Paper 2
  • Saturday 23rd January 2027 – SEAG Outcomes Available

SEAG Information Session

  • The Academy will be using the SEAG Entrance Test for entry in 2027/28. Test undertaken in November 2026.
